- Q. Are all of your courses online?
A. Yes, all courses and certification exams are online.
- Q. What kind of student support do you offer students?
A. Support is offered by online chat at the bottom left hand of your screen throughout all courses and exams. You may also send a message within the learning portal to your instructor(s) or you can call our student support phone line which is provided to you upon enrollment.
- Q. Can I print the full course?
A. While printing the course is not an option, using your browser printing options you may be able to print portions of your courses as you go along. There are courses that have files attached to them to which you can print . Support is not offered for printing of course materials. If you have purchased a course and would like a print version, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can provide you with a cost estimate to send you the course in print.
- Q. Is there a time limit on any of the medical billing courses?
A. No, all of our medical billing courses can be gone through at your own pace. There is no time-limit.
- Q. Is there a time limit on the certification exams?
A. Yes, you are given 90 days from the date of purchase to complete your certification exam(s). If you need more time, you can request an extension by sending a message to the instructor. In order to request an extension your PMRNC membership must be up-to-date and you must request the extension within 15 days prior to the end of your 90 days.
- Q. Do you offer financing?
A. No, however, we do offer financing through PayPal. When purchasing your courses an option to use PayPal credit should be visible.
- Q. Will I be certified upon completion of all courses?
A. No, you will, however, receive a certificate of completion of your course. A certification is only given after the certification exams have been taken and passed. Be wary of those that offer courses and include "certification" A true certification requires an intense knowledge and understanding in addition to the earnings of CEUs (Continued Educational Units) in order to stay up-to-date. A certificate which is different from a certification will be given upon successful completion of our medical billing courses.
- Q. How long does it take to go through all of the courses?
A. Because the courses are set with no time limit, you are free to go through them at your own pace. Every student is different. We have had students finish all courses in as little as three weeks and some six weeks or more.
- Q. Can I purchase courses individually?
A. Yes, when you are in the course catalog, to the right you will find the option to choose courses individually or purchase the full seven course E-Learning Series.
- Q. Do you offer refunds?
A. No, all course and certification exam enrollments are final. If you would like to put your courses on hold or need an extension on your exams you may contact us and we will review your request.
- Q.Do you offer financing?
A.You can choose to finance using PayPal credit upon your checkout when enrolling in your course. Paypal credit terms apply.
- Q. Do I need to be a PMRNC member to take your courses or exams?
A. No, but our full E-Learning Series includes a one-year membership to PMRNC. If you purchase one of our certifications you also receive a six-month membership to PMRNC and if you purchase both certifications you are given a one year membership to PMRNC. Memberships are not included in individual course enrollments. Membership will need to be in good standing to maintain your CEUs (Continued Education Units) for the C.H.R.S. and C.H.I.S.
