Description

Medical insurance is financial protection against loss due to injury and or illness. It is a written policy between two parties; an insurance company and either an individual or sometimes a company. This course reviews the different types of plans such as commercial, government plans, and managed care plans. The terminology used in the medical billing field is also explained so that the student can have a basic understanding of some of the information needed to continue with this extensive course.
